420MixedTape.com is a global hub for DJs and music lovers built around the legendary 4:20 mix challenge — where DJs blend 10 songs in exactly 4 minutes and 20 seconds. But it’s more than a contest — it’s a music-driven community, a discovery platform, and a place for creators to grow their audience.

🧑‍🎧 I'm a DJ — how do I upload my mix?

Uploading a mix is easy:

  1. Log in to your DJ account.

  2. Go to your MixLab (your DJ dashboard).

  3. Click “Create a Post”.

  4. Select add video, Paste the YouTube, SoundCloud, or Mixcloud link to your 4:20 mix, or other Genre, hit embed and publish.

✅ Make sure your mix is set to “Public” or “Unlisted.”

🎛️ What is the Premium Section?

The Premium Section unlocks exclusive benefits for DJs and listeners:

  • 🎧 Early access to new release mixes

  • 🛎️ Ability to subscribe to your favorite DJs and get notifications when they drop a new mix

  • 🎟️ Access to exclusive live streams, events & giveaways

  • 📣 Featured placement for premium creators

Premium is optional — listeners can always access free content through the Free Flow group.

📺 Can I upload a video directly to the site?

No direct uploads — DJs must paste a link to a hosted mix on:

  • YouTube

  • SoundCloud

  • Mixcloud

The site will embed and display your mix with a preview thumbnail.

Free Flow is the open-access section of 420MixedTape — a space where everyone can post music, drop mixes, share ideas, and collaborate without limits. It’s the creative sandbox. No rules, no ratings, just vibe.

🏆 How do ratings and the leaderboard work?

  • Each mix gets rated by users from 1 to 5 

  • Your average rating and total number of votes determine your ranking

  • Top DJs appear on the Leaderboard and can earn badges, perks, and promo

🛠️ Why won’t my video play?

Make sure:

  • You pasted the full URL, not a shortened or private link

🧼 Can I edit or delete my mix?

Yes!
Head to your DJ dashboard. You can:

  • Edit title or genre

  • Replace the video link

  • Remove the mix completely
